Growing and Developing Social

Japanese whisky began commercial production in 1924 and ever since has been a global success.

With China, France, the Philippines and the U.S accounting for 90% of all non-Japanese sales around the world, Japanese whisky is loved everywhere.

Dekanta is one of the world’s largest specialist retailer of Japanese whisky with authentic Japanese roots. Dekanta ship tens of thousands of bottles to over 60 countries.

Main Goals

Improve Social Media Presence
Dakanta wanted Bmoozd to help them increase their social media presence by growing their audience and driving significant engagement through their social media channels.

Train Staff
Train their staff in managing social media marketing so that they are prepared to complete all social media marketing goals set in house.

The Journey

We were instructed by Dekanta to help them improve their social media presence, paying particular attention to Facebook so we began development of a campaign they could post on their Facebook page.

We had to train their staff based in the Philippines on Social Media Marketing. We did this by conducting Skype training sessions as well as hosted seminars on Social Media Marketing.

WeChat was one the of portals that they also wanted specific training in, being based in Asia based. They were trained in the different types of Wechat accounts, building your own Wechat platform and selling through the app.

Other social media accounts that they needed help and training on included Twitter and LinkedIn. This was again provided through training services over Video-call.


Staff Trained in Social Media Marketing
We helped their staff to better understand how social media marketing worked, paying particular attention to the type of posts that they produced.

Facebook Advertising Campaign
We helped them create a campaign for their Facebook which reached over 80,000 people.

Created Long-Lasting Marketing Strategy
After 6 months the company wit left with a fully trained Social Media Marketing staff well versed in their social media portals. This in-house staff continues to this day.

To Conclude

Dekanta received a large level of engagement through these social media platforms from the changes we conducted. Many of this resulted in sales to boost the company.

The project lasted for about 6 months, at which point we felt that the fully trained in-house staff was more than capable of continuing on their own.

The Company was very satisfied with the training their staff received as their staff continues to upload market Dekanta through their social Media.
